My Little Mushroom collection

Mushrooms, toadstools, puff balls... all are the fruiting structures of a diverse group of soil-borne fungi that appear in our lawns every now and then. I think they are fascinating here are a few I have come accross in the past year in Virginia, hope you enjoy:)



I stumbled across this little at night, within the night hours to the next morning it was flat as you can see below, looks farmiliar:)







These beauties grew out of a pile of soil outside my house, truly amazing:)







The deer and wildlife got the best of this one, still a nice picture:)
