Stone Mountain Vinyards

Stone Mountain Vineyards

Stone Mountain Vineyards is situated atop the Blue Ridge Mountains in Greene County, Virginia (elevation approx. 1700 ft.). Established in 1995 with the first pressing in 1998.  The wine was superb and the experience was inspirational and uplifting.  Harmon was a fabulous tour guide that lives, works and breathes Stone Mountain Vineyards.  He has been there since the beginning, knows the history and the blood, sweat and tears put into this place.  It is absolutely gorgeous, if you havent been there already there is no time like the present.  I hope you enjoy the pictures below!

Picking Up the Pieces, Oil Pastel, Passion for Love and Life and everything inbetween

Music has a major influence on my life as well as throughout my artwork.  Along with past experiences and the inner peace it brings me to release my emotions through paper it is a true gift.
My most recent piece; "Why I Cry" is named after a song by Jill Stevenson.
She is an amazing musician, if you haven’t heard of her already, I would highly recommend her. http://www.jillstevenson.com/
The song is beautiful and if I could explain the true meaning of this painting, I would have to express it through this song.
This piece is truly about love and I wanted to share it with you;)

Stone Creek Village

Stone Creek Village Apartments, nesled on the outskirts of Charlottesville. minutes away from Charlottesville's historic downtown.  Within the eight acres of natural space that include a creek, a pond, dramatic mountain views, landscaped walking trails, and best of all, a sense of peace, i have captured a brief glimse of this beauty.  The pictures speak for themselves, I hope you enjoy:)
